Lop Productions is a production company born from resilience, love, and the power of storytelling. Founded by Meghann Walsh and Steven Sims, who rebuilt their lives together after a cancer diagnosis and a series of medical roadblocks, our work is rooted in hope and fueled by purpose. Meghann is a breast cancer survivor and former pastry chef, and Steven is a storyteller and veteran producer. Together, we blend our talents to craft meaningful experiences that uplift, connect, and inspire.

MEGHANN WALSH

A gifted Pastry Chef, Producer, and breast cancer survivor, Meghann was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With 25 years of culinary experience, her life shifted dramatically in 2023 when she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. After enduring six months of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, Meghann emerged with a renewed perspective on life. Though she continues to navigate post-cancer complications, Meghann's work now draws deeply from a place of strength, hope, and an enduring love for life.

STEVEN SIMS

An accomplished Editor, Director, Producer, and storyteller, Steven was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. After two decades working in television and comedy in Los Angeles and New York, he returned to Pittsburgh in 2022 in search of something more meaningful. Over the past few years, Steven has reconnected with his purpose, both in life and in his creative work. With a renewed focus and determination, Steven aims to tell impactful stories with honesty, heart, and hope.
